Didn't expect a letter opener to feel this good in hand — the 18/10 stainless steel has a cool, solid heft and the blade glides through envelopes cleanly. It's basically a little sculpture sitting on my desk that happens to be useful.
The stainless steel has a nice weight in the hand and glides through envelopes way better than the plastic letter opener I used for years. Sitting on my desk it looks more like a piece of jewelry than a tool, which is exactly what I wanted.
