I’ve been using this santoku knife for a few weeks now, and the matte finish on the forged steel blade really does resist smudges better than my old shiny knives. It feels well-balanced in my hand, making vegetable prep quicker. The Italian design is a nice bonus for my countertop.
The forged steel blade has a nice solid weight to it, and it cuts through onions way cleaner than my old cheap knife. Only thing is I wish it came with a sheath, but the matte handle still looks great sitting on my counter.
