La Bella Tavola 與 My Beautiful China

I’d never noticed how a bowl’s proportions could change soup serving until I tried this one—the wide porcelain collar makes each ladle feel deliberate and balanced. The glaze has held up beautifully through multiple dishwasher cycles, too.

The wide rim really does create that elegant "collar" look Sottsass is known for—every sip feels a bit more ceremonial. It's hefty porcelain too, so it warms nicely in the hand.

The proportions on this bowl are just right, and the collar rim gives it a sculptural feel that dresses up even a simple stew. The porcelain has a lovely weight in hand, and it cleans up beautifully after a quick wash. I've already used it every night since it arrived.
