The matte black stoneware has this almost velvety texture that photos don't quite capture, and it makes the food pop like it's on a tiny stage. I've been using them every night since they arrived and they're holding up great through the dishwasher.

I’ve been using these black stoneware bowls for dinner every night, and the deep, glossy finish really makes the table look polished without trying too hard. The four-piece set is perfect for our family of four, and they hold up great in the dishwasher after weeks of daily use.

The lacquer-like finish is even richer in person than the photos suggested, and the weight of each bowl feels substantial without being clumsy. I bought these for a dinner party and everyone kept asking where they came from. Already thinking about grabbing another set for everyday use.
