The lid fits snugly, which made all the difference when I braised short ribs last weekend — the meat came out incredibly tender. I also love that I can pop it straight into the oven without the lid for roasting vegetables.

I was surprised how evenly the heat distributes across the bottom when braising chicken thighs, and the lid fits snugly to keep moisture locked in. It’s also great for roasting vegetables in the oven without needing to switch pans.
