Etruscan granulation, a sophisticated manufacturing technique that involved soldering minute spheres of gold or silver to a thin metal sheet, is reinterpreted by Alessi to adorn the surface of four items with minimalist lines. Two containers complete with lids, a tray and a bowl all feature a simplicity of design that beautifully contrasts with their expressive, gleaming “skin”.

Victoria H. ★★★★★

The granulation work is so intricate up close, each little sphere perfectly placed along the rim. I’ve used it for serving nuts at dinner parties and it feels like a tiny piece of museum-quality craftsmanship every time.

Avery J. ★★★★★

The tiny silver spheres catch the light from every angle, making these pieces look like they belong in a museum. I've already used them twice for dinner parties and guests couldn't stop touching the textured surface.

Elizabeth T. ★★★★★

The granulation detail is stunning up close—each tiny sphere catches the light differently, and it’s surprisingly sturdy for how delicate it looks. I keep finding excuses to set the table just to admire it.
