Part of the Itsumo service, this soup plate is distinguished by the particular line of the rim—an obtuse-angled curve, known as "Donkaku" in Japanese—chosen by Naoto Fukasawa as the hallmark of the entire series. This detail is not only visible but also tactile, making the dish pleasant and interesting to touch.

Charlotte ★★★★★

I was a bit skeptical about the Donkaku rim at first, but it actually makes the soup feel more stable when you lift it, and the glazed finish catches the light beautifully. Perfect for everyday miso soup.

Aurora ★★★★★

That angled rim is genius—it makes the soup plate feel incredibly elegant in the hand. The porcelain has a lovely weight and the matte finish doesn't show fingerprints at all.

Ruby ★★★★★

I was a bit skeptical about the angled rim at first, but it actually makes the bowl feel more modern and elegant on the table. The curve catches the light in a subtle way that makes every meal look a little more special.
