An object that straddles the line between art and design created by Susan Cohn: this apparently simple and minimal centrepiece conceals an extremely sophisticated design. The designer was inspired by the screened furniture in which food used to be stored, and developed an intelligent design process with a refined moiré effect created by the passage of light between two superimposed nets.

##SPECIFICATION##
Open-work centrepiece in steel coloured with epoxy resin.

Customer Reviews (4.6 / 5 · 5 reviews)

Matthew ★★★★★

The way it catches and plays with the light on the table is mesmerizing—it’s genuinely art you can use. I was surprised by how stable it feels despite its delicate look, perfect for a fruit bowl or a simple centerpiece.

Scarlett ★★★★★

I love how the two concave sections create a natural resting place for small fruits or sculptural objects. The minimalist design really does feel like a functional art piece on my dining table.

Ella ★★★★★

I wasn't sure such a simple piece could feel so sculptural, but the way it balances on the table is genuinely striking. The hidden detailing makes it more interesting the longer you look at it.
