The 9091 induction kettle has a melodic whistle made of brass in a shape that has never been seen before and consists of two small vents in which the tuners that reproduce the notes mi and si are inserted. Richard Sapper created this kettle inspired by a childhood remembrance, the poetic sound of boats' sirens at River Rhine: this is because the melody that accompanies the vapour outlet must be pleasant and not anxious like the whistle of boilers. This induction kettle is a polysensory object which will not interrupt an enjoyable break with a whistle, but with a captivating melody.

Edward ★★★★★

I was skeptical about a musical kettle, but the mi and si tones from those tiny vents are surprisingly clear and pleasant. Boils water fast, and I actually look forward to hearing that unique brass whistle.

Timothy V. ★★★★★

I wasn't sure what to expect from a musical kettle, but the two-note whistle (mi and si) is genuinely pleasant and not shrill at all. The brass tuner vents are a clever touch, and it heats water quickly enough for my morning pour-over.

Edward A. ★★★★★

The brass whistle with its twin vents is the first thing guests ask about every time I brew. It hits that mi and si note so cleanly that it feels more like a tiny concert than a kettle going off.
