Pastorello

The porcelain finish has a lovely weight to it, and the shepherd’s face is so cheerful it instantly brightens the nursery shelf. I placed it near the crib and the little wolfhound’s pose makes the whole scene feel warm and storybook-like. Just the right touch of handmade charm for the holidays.

The wolfhound at the shepherd's side is what sold me—the detailing on its fur and the man's staff feels hand-painted rather than mass-produced. It sits perfectly in the crib display without looking too bulky, and the porcelain has a nice weight to it.

The porcelain finish is surprisingly delicate and pretty, and the shepherd’s face has a gentle, merry expression that fits the crib scene perfectly. I’ve placed him beside the manger display and the wolfhound detail adds a lovely rustic touch. Exactly the quality I hoped for in a keepsake ornament.
