トランペット

I keep this on my desk and the flared opening catches light like a real trumpet bell. It's surprisingly weighty for its size, which makes it feel like a proper object rather than a trinket. The white rabbit nod is subtle enough that it never tips into kitsch.

The soundless little vase still manages to feel musical—the flared rim draws your eye like a trumpet bell, and the brass-tone finish gives it a playful, Alice-in-Wonderland charm that lights up the whole shelf.

The flared shape catches light on my windowsill all day, kind of like a little brass horn mid-note. I've had dried stems in it for two weeks and the finish still hasn't dulled.
