I was skeptical about a modern take on the classic stovetop, but the way it balances on the burner is perfectly stable. The coffee comes out with a rich crema that reminds me of my grandmother’s kitchen, and the handle stays cool to the touch.

The clean, minimalist design feels just as iconic as the classic stovetop maker, and it brews a surprisingly smooth espresso. I love how simple and familiar the whole process is, exactly as intended.

Pouring water into the wide opening is so much easier than with my old narrow-top maker, and the coffee comes out rich without any metallic taste. The brushed aluminum feels solid in the hand, exactly what I wanted.
