It sits on my counter like a tiny piece of sculpture, but the real surprise is how perfectly the strainer holes drain even the smallest grains of rice. Feels substantial in the hand, and cleaning it takes seconds. My kitchen finally has a tool that's as beautiful as it is practical.

The way the colander’s lines catch the light when I rinse greens makes it feel less like a tool and more like a quiet sculpture in my kitchen. It’s a pleasure to handle, and the weight in my hand tells me it’ll last through years of daily use.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a designer colander, but it's genuinely beautiful to leave out on the counter. The dialogue between Chipperfield and Leemann really shows in how balanced and precise it feels, and it handles a big batch of pasta without a wobble.
