It's a relief to finally have a base that doesn't wobble mid-dinner, and the cast iron's weight makes it feel rock-solid under the pot. Cleanup was surprisingly simple, too, which I didn't expect from a spare part. Working perfectly as a replacement for my set.

The cast iron is noticeably thicker and more stable than the plastic stands I’ve used before. It fits perfectly under my fondue set without any wobble when I’m dipping.
