I’ve been using this casserole for my weekend ragù, and the stainless steel 18/10 feels really solid and heats evenly. The long handle stays cool enough to grab without a mitt, which is a nice bonus.

The silicone resin coating on the black version means my tomato sauce doesn't stain it at all, which was my main worry. The long handle stays cool enough to grab while the sauce simmers, and cleanup takes maybe a minute. Genuinely the nicest pot I've owned.

I've made three batches of ragout in this casserole and the silicone resin coating really does make cleanup a breeze, while the 18/10 steel feels substantial without being heavy. The long handle gives good leverage too, so pouring sauce into jars is steady and mess-free.
