The grain on these spoons is beautiful, and they feel much lighter than my old wooden ones. I’ve been using them for everything from soup to stirring sauces, and they hold up perfectly in the dishwasher without any warping.

The way the handles are carved feels incredibly smooth and balanced in the hand—you can tell they studied traditional Japanese tools. I used the slotted spoon for serving pasta, and it didn’t leave any weird marks or smells after washing. Exactly what I hoped for from natural kitchenware.

I was curious how well plant-fiber utensils would hold up, but after washing this set several times the bamboo-style finish still looks brand new. The handles have just enough texture to keep a good grip even when wet.
