Bought this to go with a teapot I already had and the proportions are just right. The slightly raised board design makes it easy to pick up without my thumb sliding onto the rim. Simple, well made, no complaints.

The subtle lip on this saucer keeps my cup from sliding when I carry it from the kitchen, which I didn't expect to appreciate so much. The lines are simple and clean, and it stacks neatly with my other dishes. Exactly the kind of quiet, well-made piece I was hoping for.

The saucer's bowl-like curve actually holds my mug steady when I'm carrying it from the kitchen, which I didn't expect from such a simple shape. The clean lines look great stacked on the shelf too.
