Alessi Spare Part Code Explained: MDL07/COPB Lid

What the MDL07/COPB code actually tells you

An Alessi spare part code is a compact identifier, not a secret formula. In MDL07/COPB, the first segment points to the appliance family or model it belongs to, while the suffix identifies the specific component. For this part, the code resolves to a black replacement lid for the ALESSI Plissé electric citrus squeezer.

That means the code does two jobs at once: it names the part and narrows down the models it is intended for. The supplied catalog record lists it as a replacement lid for Plissé electric citrus squeezer models MDL07 B and MDL07B/USA, in black.

Questions to settle before you order

Which squeezer models does MDL07/COPB fit?

The supplied product record states it is a replacement lid for ALESSI Plissé electric citrus squeezer models MDL07 B and MDL07B/USA. Check the model marking on your own squeezer before ordering; if your model is not one of those two, this lid is not confirmed as compatible.

Is this the whole squeezer or just the lid?

It is a spare part, specifically the lid. The record describes it as a replacement lid designed to maintain the original look and function of your squeezer, not as a complete appliance.

What color is the replacement lid?

Black. The catalog specification lists Color: Black, and the description says it is crafted in black to match the original model.

Can I read the code as a universal Alessi part number?

No. The code is specific to this lid and the Plissé squeezer models named in the record. Treat it as an identifier for this component, not as a key that unlocks every Alessi spare part.

Does the code tell me how to install the lid?

The supplied information does not include fitting instructions, care instructions, or safety guidance for this lid. It identifies the part and its intended models; it does not document the replacement procedure.

Catalog evidence for MDL07/COPB

• MDL07/COPB: Replacement lid for ALESSI Plissé electric citrus squeezer models MDL07 B and MDL07B/USA. This is the compatibility statement to match against the model marking on your squeezer before buying.

• MDL07/COPB: Color: Black. Confirms the finish so you can judge whether it matches your existing squeezer.
• MDL07/COPB: Designed to maintain the original look and function of your squeezer. Explains the purpose of the part: restoring the lid rather than replacing the appliance.

How to use a spare part code in practice

• Start with your appliance model: Find the model marking on your Plissé squeezer and compare it with MDL07 B or MDL07B/USA. The code alone is not enough if you have not confirmed the appliance.
• Match the component, not just the brand: MDL07/COPB identifies a lid. If you need a different component, this code will not lead you to it.
• Use the code as a search anchor: Searching the exact code is more reliable than searching a description like 'Alessi lid replacement part', because the code is tied to the specific record.
• Check the color before you commit: The record specifies black. If your squeezer is a different finish, the replacement will not match visually.

What the catalog does not confirm

The supplied record does not include care instructions, installation steps, safety ratings, or load limits for this lid. It also does not state a material beyond the black color. Those details are simply not confirmed by the information available here, so do not infer them from the code.

The record also lists a single variant named Standard, with no additional size or finish options. If you need a different color or a different component, this part is not the one described.
