Finally found the exact little black cap to replace the one that went missing from my egg cup. It fits snugly and the plastic feels sturdy enough for daily use. My morning boiled eggs are back on the table, good as new.

I was worried a small plastic piece wouldn't match the existing finish, but this black hat clicks on firmly and blends right in with the rest of the egg cup. It's the exact shape to hold the egg steady.

This little plastic hat fits the egg cup perfectly, snapping on securely without any wobble. The matte black finish matches the original exactly, making the repair almost invisible.
