The centenary packaging is what sold me, and it looks even better in person than online. The ashtray itself has a nice weight to it, and the Marianne Brandt lines are as clean as I hoped.

I keep it on my desk for paper clips, but honestly it's the packaging I can't throw away—the centenary design is that nice. Small enough to disappear next to my keyboard, yet it still feels like a real piece of design history.

Bought this as a desk piece rather than for smoking, and the steel bowl has a nice heft that keeps it from sliding around. The centenary packaging is a lovely touch too, feels like owning a little slice of design history.
